Sue’s two decades of experience in the New Zealand wine industry includes production, and sales and marketing roles for Villa Maria, Cardmember Wines and Eurowine. She has a very broad perspective of the New Zealand wine market and is thus a very highly respected wine consultant. Her distribution business Wine2Trade has a portfolio of premium, hand-crafted, boutique wines which are supplied to some of this country’s best restaurants and top wine merchants.
Possessing a highly-trained palate, Sue is experienced in and enjoys wine from throughout the world. She is been a New Zealand and Australasian Wine Options Champion several times and has judged at the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards. Though primarily focussed on sales and marketing, Sue has had extensive involvement in event management and was the Wine Director for the Pinot Noir 2007 conference. Her logistics abilities have seen her overseeing stewarding at many wine judging competitions as well as managing various wine events.
Sue is especially keen on how wine interacts and combines with food and believes responsible wine consumption contributes to good living. A glass of good wine is an important part of everyday life.
