Fruit from Dillons Point from vines planted in 1993, fermented to 12.5% alc. and 6 g/L RS, with TA 8.6 g/L and pH 2.8. Bright, very pale straw colour with light green hues, near colourless on edge. This has a delicate bouquet with gently concentrated aromas of pure lime and lemon-like fruit, along with subtle mineral elements. Off-dry to dry in taste, elegant flavours of limes and citrus fruits, are entwined with white florals and minerals and gently unfold in mouthfilling breadth and presence, showing good fruit extract. The palate has poise between sweetness and crisp acidity, and the flow is guided by very fine, phenolics leading to a dry and sustained finish with lifted white florals. This is a gently concentrated and pure, dryish Riesling with balance and fine textures. Serve as an aperitif and with Asian fare over the next 4-5+ years. 18.0/20 Apr 2014 RRP $25.00
