Made from 100% botrytised Viognier, fermented to 13.0% alc. and 100 g/L rs, then aged 8 months in barriques. Deep golden yellow with a little mahogany hue to the colour, this has an amazingly dense and concentrated nose of honey, caramel and barley sugar, lifted by some volatility. Very sweet, lush and decadent, this is packed with honey, poached apricot, marmalade and caramel-like flavours. The palate is broad, but kept fresh with sufficient, balancing acidity. There is a completeness to the wine and its forward style will please. Enjoy now and over the next 5-6+ years.  Mar 2011
