Yealands ‘Land Made’ Marlborough Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 02-Nov-2017
Bright, pale salmon-pink with some depth, lighter on the rim. The nose is soft with delicate strawberry fruit entwined with red florals, nuances of quince and redcurrants, and suggestions of watermelon, revealing a little confectionary and fresh fermentation esters. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has light flavours of strawberries, quince and watermelon with redcurrant and herbal hints, along with confectionary elements. The flavours flow along a light-textured line with fresh acidity lending energy. The wine leads to a light, dry, floral nuanced finish. This is a fresh, dry rosé with light flavours of strawberries, quince, currants and some confectionary. Serve as an aperitif and with canapes over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 5.2 g/L RS. 16.5/20 Sep 2017 RRP $18.95
