Full. Even straw-yellow colour with pale golden hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is fresh and elegantly rich with aromas of yellow florals, apricots and citrus zest, unfolding notes of tropical fruits. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has gently mouthfilling flavours of exotic tropical fruits, apricots, citrus zest and florals. This has good presence and weight, and the fruit richness lends a little unctuousness. The mouthfeel is rounded with light phenolic textures providing balance, and integrated acidity. The wine carries smoothly to a long and sustained finish of exotic stonefruits, tropical fruits and apricots. This is a gently mouthfilling, dry Viognier with flavours exotic stonefruit and tropical fruit, along with citrus zest and apricot notes on a rounded palate with weight and presence. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine over the next 2+ years. South Australian fruit indigenous yeast fermented to 13.5% alc. and 3.3 g/L RS, the wine aged 3 months on lees. 17.0/20 May 2017 RRP $16.95
