Wyebrook Estate ‘Premium Single Vineyard’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-Feb-2014
Brilliant pale straw-yellow colour, near colourless on rim. The bouquet is very fresh with mouthwatering aromas of gooseberry fruit lifted with hints of exotic tropical fruits. This is a classical Marlborough expression, very youthful and bright in the glass. Dry to taste, the palate is elegant and gentle in presentation with refined gooseberry fruit and tropical fruit nuances. The mouthfeel is smooth and mellow, with soft, mouthwatering acidity. The fruit flavours have subtle drive, leading to a gentle, grassy nuanced finish. This is a soft, light and smooth flowing Sauvignon Blanc. Serve as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 2 years. 13.0% alc. 16.0+/20 Feb 2014 RRP $24.50
