Woven Stone Ohau Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 05-Apr-2013
Brilliant straw-yellow colour with slight lemon-green hues on rim, the nose is moderately full with gentle and up-front aromas of yellow capsicums and herbs, with lifted lime and floral notes. Dry to taste, soft, light flavours of yellow capsicums and citrus fruit reveal gooseberry and bean-like notes at the core. The mouthfeel is rounded, but refreshing from good acidity, and a subtle textural line guides the palate to a light finish with sweet and succulent fruit nuances. This is a fresh, light and gentle Sauvignon Blanc with sweet capsicum fruit flavours. Serve with seafood and Asian cuisine over the next 18 months. Second and third crop fruit, cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. and 3.0 g/L rs. 16.0+/20 Apr 2013 RRP $22.99
