Woollaston Nelson Pinot Noir 2006

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 06-Mar-2011
Made from clones 115, 777, 667, 5 and Abel from Upper Moutere, fully destemmed and fermented to 13.9% alc., the wine aged 10 months in 25% new French oak. Deep ruby-red with garnet hues, this has an elegant and fragrant bouquet of soft red fruits complexed by secondary mushroom and earthy elements with a touch cedary oak with volatility. A medium-weighted wine featuring lush, rich and sweet red berry fruit flavours which are developing secondary forest-floor complexities, this has velvety tannins and a harmonious outlook. Drink now with subtle game meat over the next 3-5 years. 17.0+/20 Mar 2011 RRP $30.00
