Wooing Tree Central Otago Pinot Noir 2006

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 04-Feb-2014
Lighter garnet-red colour, pale on rim. This is elegant and refined on bouquet and tight in aromatic expression. The fruit aromas are in the red berry spectrum, with some secondary dried herb and undergrowth elements interwoven, and there is a good concentrated core. Medium-bodied, the fruit flavours of dark plums and berries are tending towards the secondary phase, with some primary lift still present. The sweetness and acidity are receding and a dry, grainy-textured mouthfeel is appearing, as the palate leads to a moderately long finish. This is drinking now and for the next 3 years. 17.5-/20 Jan 2014 RRP $N/A
