Wolf Blass ‘Red Label’ South East Australia Shiraz/Grenache 2011

Blended Red from Australia - Other
Review Date : 21-Apr-2013
Bright, light ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues. This has a light, clean, up-front and straightforward bouquet with aromatic peppery fruit aromas with fragrant red berry and floral notes. Medium-bodied, up-front primary fruit flavours of white pepper and raspberry fruit are enlivened by acid freshness and brightness, providing a juicy mouthful. The sweetness and acidity along with light, supple and soft tannins make this immediately accessible and easy. The palate is plush and light, with the acidity carrying the flavours. This is a fruity and easy red with the Grenache component very obvious. Drink over the next 3-4 years with pasta, pizza and barbecued foods. Shiraz and Grenache from South East Australia stainless-steel fermented to 13.5% alc. 16.5/20 Apr 2012 RRP $9.99
