Wittmann Grauer Burgunder Trocken 2013

Pinot Gris from Germany
Review Date : 03-Mar-2015
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with golden hues. This has a soft and full nose with gently honied pear and stonefruit aromas, lifted by nuances of exotic florals, and refreshed by an underlying steely note. Dry to taste, light flavours of stonefruits and pears mark the front palate follow a fine-textured line. The wine flows with some energy and the palate features lively and bright acid cut. The flavours recede, leaving a light finish. This is an up-front, lively Pinot Gris. 3+ years. Rheinhessen 13.0% alc. 17.0+/20 Feb 2015 RRP $31.45
