Wither Hills ‘Benmorven’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2007

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 06-Feb-2011
Bright purple hued ruby red, quite youthful looking. Powerful on bouquet, this had intensity, though high toast, charry oak dominated. On palate, this was rich and powerful, packed with dark berry fruits, high extraction, noticeable alcohol as well as acidity, but essentially over-oaked, in an attractive way! A statement wine.  Oct 2010
