Deep, ruby-black, lighter ruby on the rim. The nose is attractive with concentration, aromas of cassis, blackberry and ripe plum melded with sweet vanilla, cedar and an amalgam of spice. Full-bodied, succulent cassis, blackberry and plum aromas have a vibrant core, interweaved vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and cedar. The fruit has a great balance of ripeness and vibrancy, supported by a juicy acid line. Ripe tannins contribute a chewy texture and grip to the mouthfeel and structure. This Cabernet Sauvignon shows generous, succulent fruit and a structured mouthfeel with spice and cedar details. Match with ribeye steak and braised brisket over the next 5 years. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, 100% whole berry fermented with native yeast, 35 days maceration, aged 11 months in barrels, 50% new oak. 14% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) June 2022 RRP $35
