Ruby-red colour with some depth, lighter on edge. This has a fresh, light nose of dark raspberry fruit with nuances of fresh herbs. The aromatics are fresh and primary with some red floral lift. Medium-bodied, light and pretty, juicy raspberry fruit flavours are the feature on palate. Some herbal nuances add freshness, with a suggestion of minerally reduction emerging. This is modestly extracted, the tannins lending light grip and support for the fruit. Fresh, balanced acidity enlivens the fruit and the wine carries through to a lacy, dry finish. This is a light, bright and pretty Pinot Noir with accessible fruit and freshness. Serve with antipasto, tapas and Mediterranean fare over the next 2-3 years. The bouquet is fresh and pretty, with softly intense red cherry and raspberry fruit aromas, showing some lifted whole berry fermentation confectionary, red liquorice and delicate herbal elements. Medium-bodied, bright and juicy, up-front raspberry and red liquorice fruit flavours fill the mouth. This has good substance and presence, the fruit supported by fine, grainy tannin extraction and ripe, soft acidity. Some raspberry confectionary notes are present, adding to the aromatic lift. The flavours gradually recede to a light, dry and soft finish. This is an up-front, pretty, soft-textured, juicy raspberry and cherry-flavoured Pinot Noir.
