Bright, even, pale raspberry pink. The nose is lush and voluminous, with aromas of ripe berries, maraschino cherries and rose petals. Medium-bodied, aromas of maraschino cherries and wild berries entwined with rose petals. The wine is packed with purity of fruit, hauled along a luminous acid line to a refreshing, dry finish. Serve as an aperitif or match with salamis over the next 2-3 years. Handpicked fruit from Pisa, left on skins for 2 days, fermented in stainless steel (85%) and neutral oak (15%) to 13% alc, 4.3 g/l RS. Vegan friendly. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Aug 2023 RRP $32
