WhaleBone Bay Marlborough Riesling 2010

Riesling from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 01-May-2012
Bright straw-yellow colour, pale on rim. The bouquet has soft and delicate aromas of lime and lemon with a chalky nuance. Off-dry, distinctive fruit flavours of lemons, tangerines and exotic florals form a rich core to the palate. This has good presence. The weight and depth is balanced and enlivened by brisk acidity. Softly textured through the mid-palate, the flavours flow to a dry and lingering finish with citrus zest notes and lacy, refreshing acidity. Serve as an aperitif and with Asian cuisine over the next 3+ years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented to 11.6% alc. and 8.6 g/L rs. 17.5-/20 Apr 2012 RRP $18.99
