Deep ruby-red with a hint of bricking, lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full, with aromas of strawberry, plum, spice and nail polish. Medium-full bodied, aromas of strawberry and black plum melded with dark chocolate, an amalgam of spice and kirsch. The fruit is rich with a mealy quality, and powdery tannins provide structure and strength to a robust finish.
