Wairau Hills Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 01-Sep-2011
Ruby-red colour with a light edge. This has a soft, full and voluminous nose of red florals and red berry fruits, along with notes of milk chocolate, red liquorice and toasty oak. A medium-full bodied wine, this is open and fleshy with juicy red berry fruit flavours, supported by supple tannins that provide a fine and sufficiently firm line through the palate. The acidity is balanced and provides good freshness, adding to the sweet finish. 13.5% alc. A sweet fruited wine with fine tannins to match with duck and pork dishes over the next 4-5 years. 17.0/20 Sep 2011 RRP $27.95
