Waimea Estates Nelson Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 03-Nov-2015
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with light green hues, pale on rim. The nose is finely concentrated with intense aromas of passionfruit, herbs and minerals, revealing lifted white stonefruits, limes and floral detail with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly presented with lush and sweet fruit flavours of passionfruit, citrus fruit, herbs and florals forming a concentrated core. The wine follows a very fine-textured line, and the mouthfeel is enlivened by refreshing, mouthwatering acidity. The delicate detail is carried by the wine to a long, lingering, soft-textured finish with rich passionfruit flavours. This is a rich, sweet-fruited Sauvignon Blanc with fine detail and a refreshing palate line. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from 5 vineyards cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 3.8 g/L RS. 18.5/20 Nov 2015 RRP $17.00
