Very pale, peach pink colour, light on rim. The nose is very delicate with fresh aromas of strawberries and watermelon with subtle redcurrant and piquant floral nuances. Off-dry to taste and medium-full bodied, this has a fulsome and deep core with plenty of palate presence and positive alcoholic drive. The flavours of strawberries, quince and redcurrants are restrained and follow a fine, textured thread and line with balanced, fresh underlying acidity. The wine carries to a tight, mouth-wateringly dry, lingering finish with strawberry and floral notes. This is a fulsome, off-dry rosé with subtle strawberry and quince flavours and a dry finish. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir from the ‘Vynfields’ estate, given limited skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.9% alc., and 8.3 g/L RS.
