Vincent Girardin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er ‘Clos de Cailleret’ 2009

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 08-Dec-2011
Bright lemon-gold with green hues, pale on rim, this has a voluminous nose, quite solid and up-front with citrus and nutty aromas along with a complex oak and reduction amalgam. A full-bodied, well-ripened wine, this is rich and even with lush yellow stonefruit and nutty flavours along with minerals, toast and flint. The acidity is balanced and fresh and brings some vitality to the fullness and open breadth. One to age 4-5 years.  Dec 2011  RRP $115.00
