100% Sauvignon Blanc from the company's BioGro certified vineyard bordering the Gimblett Gravels, fermented to 13.0% alc. and 3.0 g/L rs, some components matured in old oak. Bright, pale, straw-yellow colour with some green hues, this has a full, even, zesty and bright fruited bouquet of ripe gooseberries with herbs, nettles and yellow stonefruits Medium-bodied and dry to taste, the wine has softly expressed, herb and gooseberry flavours, quite open and with breadth on palate. The acidity is racy and brisk on impact, providing real liveliness and slippery textures. The fruit sweetness emerges and adds softness and nuance on the finish.
