Vidal ‘Joseph Soler’ Hawke’s Bay Cabernet Sauvignon 1998

Cabernet Sauvignon from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 22-Nov-2013
Impenetrable black-red in colour, this is opulent with ripe and densely packed aromas of blackcurrant and black plum fruit along with exotic oak spices. The palate is one of great power and extract, the ripe black fruits intensely concentrated and backed by very fine-grained tannins. The oaking is considerable with sweetness and char, but it melds in with the bountiful fruit, This combines finesse with concentration and a great deal of flair. It will develop over the next decade plus, easily. 19.5-/20 Nov 2013
