Victoria Park South Australia Shiraz 2014

Syrah from Australia - South Australia
Review Date : 20-Sep-2016
Even ruby-red colour with some purple hues, lighter edged. The nose is light, shy and slender in presentation with soft aromas of dark-red berry fruits entwined with black pepper, dark herbs and spice nuances. Medium-bodied, the palate has light but positive flavours ofdark raspberries with nuances of pepper and spices. The fruit has a gentle sweetness, balanced by light, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. The wine carries along a gentle line to a raspberry and jam nuanced finish. Rather shy on the nose, this Shiraz has light and gently sweet raspberry and jam flavours and a light tannin grip. Serve with pasta, pizza and barbecued fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from South Australia fermented to 13.5% alc. 15.5/20 Sep 2016 RRP $12.99
