Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, pale on rim. The nose is softly full with restrained aromas of ripe gooseberry fruit that unfolds to reveal tropical fruit, fresh herb and minerally detail. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, luscious and juicy flavours of gooseberry fruit form a good core with a very fine-textured line. The fruit and mouthfeel is brightened by crisp, thirst-quenching and lacy acidity adding a degree of succulence. The palate is poised and flows with good tension and energy, leading to an elegant, lingering finish with aromatic tropical fruit and minerally nuances. This is a stylish, luscious, lively and mouthwatering Sauvignon Blanc. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years.
