Two Rivers ‘Juliet’ Marlborough Riesling 2012

Riesling from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-Oct-2012
Bright straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale on rim. This is beautifully delicate with pure aromas of limes, lemon, minerals and herbs with honeysuckle hints, all tightly bound. Medium-dry to taste, this has an exotic amalgam of flavours featuring citrus fruits, white florals, honey and talc. The mouthfeel is very refined and soft, with lacy, refreshing acidity underlining the palate flow. Detailed and delicate nuances unfold and carry through to a very long and sustained dry finish. This is a beautifully refined and delicate Riesling with an array of subtle exotic flavours. Serve as an aperitif, or match with Thai, Vietnamese or Japanese cuisine over the next 5-6 years. Hand-picked WBP fruit cool-fermented to 12.5% alc. and 15 g/L rs, the wine aged on lees 3 months. 18.5+/20 Oct 2012 RRP $24.00
