Bright, even, medium yellow. The nose is full, with aromas of struck match, roasted hazelnut, lemon, peach, and baguette crust. Full-bodied, with aromas of lemon, lemon zest and peach, underlined by struck match, roasted hazelnut, cream and baguette crust. The tangy acidity upholds the toasty components and provides freshness, driving a long, creamy finish. A bold, powerful Chardonnay with a zesty core. Match with roasted quail and baked fish over the next 7+ years. Fruit from 33- year-old Mendoza vines, wild fermented in French oak cuves, aged on light lees for 10 months. Unfined, unfiltered.
