Two Rivers ‘Altitude’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2010

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 01-Aug-2012
Fruit from the Ward district of the Awatere Valley, fermented to 13.5% alc., the wine aged 11 months in 100% new French oak. Dark ruby-red with purple hues, this has a concentrated and deep nose of dark berry-cherry and plum aromas showing good ripeness, the oak not intrusive at all. Full-bodied, this is a big, rich and plump wine with concentrated, lush dark fruit flavours. The extraction is in balance, seriously supple, and oaking manifest with a little toastiness on the finish. A wine with depth and shine, with a plump nature and real richness. 200 6-packs made. 18.0+/20 Jul 2012 RRP $49.99
