Twin Islands Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 09-Dec-2015
Brilliant light straw-yellow colour with some depth, paler on rim. This has a fresh and well-concentrated, intense nose of passionfruit and tropical fruits, with melons and pungent, mouthwatering mineral notes. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the fruit is tightly bound and slender in proportion, but expressed with succulence and richness. Passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours form an elegant, rounded core and line with soft-textured phenolics, and the wine flows positively with slippery acidity. The palate carries to a soft, lush, passionfruity finish. This is an elegant, succulent-fruited, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with good flow. Serve with seafood and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit fermented to 13.0% alc. and 3.0 g/L RS. 17.0/20 Dec 2015 RRP $18.00
