Tussock Nelson Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 06-Mar-2011
Fruit from the Upper Moutere, cool-fermented to 14.0% alc., with 6.5 g/L rs. Bright straw-yellow colour with the faintest blush, this has a light nose of pears and white stonefruits alongside ripe pears and nectarines. Off-dry to taste, this has lovely, lifted pear-drop flavours with honey and stoneftuits on a well-balanced, soft-textured palate. There is good acidity for freshness, and a touch of alcohol warmth. Fruit sweetness and residual sugar carry the finish. Drink over 2-4 years with antipasto, seafood and poultry. 16.5/20 Mar 2011 RRP $18.00
