Turanga Creek ‘Down To Earth’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 25-Jan-2013
Brilliant straw-yellow colour with pale green hues, lighter on rim. This has a soft and fresh, elegantly expressed nose of passionfruit aromas with attractively lifted lime and herb notes, revealing cooler, nettle elements in the glass. Dry to taste, this has a clean and fresh flavour amalgam of gooseberries, nettles and passionfruit, moderately deep and light in weight. The mouthfeel is soft, with a fine, drying textural line that carries through to a gently sustained, dry finish with gooseberry and herb flavours. This is a light, fresh and dry Sauvignon Blanc with nettle and passionfruit characters over the next 18 months. Serve as an aperitif or with first courses over the next Fruit from an organic vineyard in the Wairau Valley fermented to 12.5% alc. Certified BioGro organic. 16.0+/20 Jan 2013 RRP $20.00
