Bright, even, deep golden-yellow. This has a pronounced, distinctive bouquet, nuances of mango, stonefruit and citrus melded with honey, marmalade and floral, followed by a hint of ginger and beeswax. Full-bodied, luscious to taste, aromas of mango, stonefruit integrated with honey, pretty floral details, followed by a touch of ginger, beeswax and preserved citrus with a hint of savouriness lingering to a long lasting finish. Excellent acidity balances the sweetness and drives a long, crisp closing. This complex, harmonious late-harvested Riesling possesses a wide range of aromas, well-balanced and moreish. Match with pan-seared foie-gras and cream brulee over the next 10 years.
