Trout Valley Nelson Riesling 2010

Riesling from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 14-Feb-2011
Made from contract grown fruit from Nelson, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. Very pale straw yellow with a suggestion of green hues to the colour, this has an elegant and attractive nose of florals, limes and a little honey. Dryish to taste and light in body, this is an approachable and inviting wine with its clean, pure, lime, floral and honey flavours. The fruit has a delicacy, and balanced racy acidity enlivens the palate. The gentle, textured finish has good length. A well-made and accessible Riesling to enjoy as an aperitif and with seafood over the next 2-4 years. 16.5+/20 Jan 2011 RRP $15.50
