Bright, light lemon with a green hue, lighter on edge. The nose is delicate with fragrances of lime, lemongrass; melded with a lifted scent of elderflower and a dusty, chalky mineral. Dry to taste, medium-light bodied with a fine texture, the palate is soft with flavours of lime, lemongrass and a sweet note of elderflower. The palate is smooth along a fine-textured phenolic line; the wine is energetic hauling soft lacy acidity, delicate spices and a mineral finish. This is a softly presented Sauvignon Blanc with gentle fragrances of lime, lemongrass and elderflower on the palate with beautiful phenolic textures, lacy acidity and good linearity. Match with white fish ceviche and seashells over the next 3 years. Fruit from Mangaorapa Station in Porangahau, fermented to 11.5% alc, 4.1g/l RS. 18/20pts June 2020 RRP$22.99
