Trinity Hill Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2017

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 04-Nov-2017
Pale salmon-pink colour with a little depth, lighter on edge. The nose is softly full and deep with well-packed, taut aromas of red berry fruit and red florals along with an amalgam of nuts and thirst-quenching minerals, unfolding nuances of earth. Dryish to taste and medium bodied, the palate has sweet, juicy and lively flavours of red berry fruit and red florals along with subtle earthy notes and mouthwatering minerals. The palate has lift and vibrancy with brisk acidity, and the wine flows along a very fine-textured, smooth line, leading to a crisp finish with crunchy red fruits and mineral nuances. This is a refreshing, vibrant, dryish rosé with red berry fruits and lifted florals and mouthwatering mineral notes. Serve as an aperitif, with canapes and antipasto over the next 2 years. A blend of Tempranillo, Merlot, Malbec, Montepulciano and Syrah, from the Gimblett Gravels, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.0% alc. and 6.6 g/L RS. 18.0-/20 Nov 2017 RRP $20.00
