Trinity Hill Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 03-Sep-2015
50% Pinot Noir and 25% each Merlot and Montepulciano from the Gimblett Gravels and the ‘Esprit’ vineyard, Raukawa, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 4.1 g/L RS. Pale, candyfloss pink colour, lighter on edge. The nose is very elegant, with fine and fresh, perfumed florals and delicate strawberry notes, along with nuances of minerals and a suggestion of confectionary. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, soft and luscious flavours of red florals, strawberries and cream and nuances of fruit pastilles form a gently succulent core. The mouthfeel is balanced by mouthwatering acidity and soft textures that carry the wine to a fine, dry, lingering finish with aromatic floral elements. This is a delicate and elegant dry rosé with subtle aromatic richness and a soft, mouthwatering palate. Serve as an aperitif, and with tapas and antipasto over the next 2 years. 18.0/20 Sep 2015 RRP $20.00
