Trinity Hill Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2014

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 26-Jun-2014
Pinot Noir from the ‘Esprit’ vineyard, Raukawa, in the Hawke’s Bay hills, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 6.67 g/L RS. Bright, pale pink colour with slight youthful purple hues on edge. The nose soft and delicate with subtle aromas of strawberries and cream, with watermelon, floral, and steely, minerally notes, revealing nuances of fruit pastilles. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, lifted flavours of strawberries and light red florals show with a delicate sweetness, and are enlivened by racy acidity. The zestiness is prominent, providing energy and drive. The flavours follow a very fine, phenolic textural thread that leads the palate to a dry, mouthwatering finish with strawberry bon-bon elements. This is a dry and racy, strawberry-fruited rosé with a mouthwatering delicacy. Serve as an aperitif, and with antipasta or dim sum over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Jun 2014 RRP $20.00
