Very dark, black-hued purpkle-red colour, with ruby on the rim. The nose is elegantly presented and blossoms in volume to show ripe, dark red berry fruit aromas with blackberries and raspberry liqueur notes. Dark red floral nuances, sweet oak vanilla and toast elements, and mineral detail emerge in the glass. Medium-full bodied, the palate features up-front, juicy, dark red berry fruit flavours, raspberry liqueur, and sweet oak vanilla and cedary nuances. The fruit is supported by fine, grainy tannin extraction that lends grip and structure. Balanced acidity provides energy and drive, and the succulent fruit is carried to a sweet, lingering finish. This is a sweet-fruited Tempranillo with raspberry liqueur and oak vanilla interest, and a well-structured palate. Match with roasted and grilled red meat dishes over the next 5-6+ years. The nose is concentrated with bright and vibrant dark raspberry, blackberry and earthy aromas, lifted by dark red florals and detailed with herb, smoke and minerally elements. A little sweet and savoury oak emerges with aeration. Medium-full bodied, the fruit is softly rich with a restrained plushness, showing flavours of dark raspberries, blackberries and earth. The fruit is supported by very fine-grained tannin extraction and structure, the dryness balancing the fruit succulence. The acidity is soft, and the palate has some underlying alcoholic power carrying the wine to a long, fine, powdery-textured finish with raspberry and earthy nuances. This is a rich and juicy, red and black-fruited Tempranillo with fine-grained, mouthfilling, powdery tannin structure. Serve with lamb, beef and venison, and semi-hard cheeses over the next 5-6 years.
