Trinity Hill Chardonnay 2020, Hawke’s Bay

Chardonnay from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 17-May-2021
Bright, even pale yellow. The nose is softly full with purity, nuances of lemon curd, pineapple and stonefruit intermix dusty spices. Medium-bodied, vibrant palate display aromas of crunchy citrus, pineapple melded with grapefruit peels, subtle toasty oak and a touch cream. The mouthfeel is fresh with a light creamy line and subtle fine-textured phenolic, supported by brilliant acidity, followed by a crisp, citrusy finish. This is a crisp Chardonnay with flavours of citrus-toned fruit, subtle complexity of toasty oak and creamy lees details. Match with seafood and poultry over the next 3-5 years. Fruit was sourced from various sites in Hawke's Bay, fermented to 13% alc. 17.5/20 pts (88 pts) May 2021 RRP $22.99
