Tortochot Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Champerrier’ ‘Vieilles Vignes’ 2009

Pinot Noir from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 09-Feb-2012
Light ruby-red with slight garnet hues on edge. The nose is soft, full and even, with funky game aromas, savoury red fruits with some development appearing. But on palate much fresher, with lifted floral perfumes, gentle red berry fruits, quite succulent. Fine textures and fine tannins are a feature. This is well-balanced and harmonious, quite elegant, and attractive for it. This will age 6-8 years easily.  Feb 2012  RRP $89.00
