Torrent Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2021, Nelson

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Nelson
Review Date : 13-Oct-2021
Bright, even, pale yellow colour. The nose is vibrant and softly full, filled the glass with gooseberries, currants and lime, along with a subtle hint of white spice. Medium-bodied, intense aromas of gooseberry and lime intermix white currants with a subtle white pepper linger. Salivating acidity provides a vibrant and crisp palate. The fruit has good concentration. This is a straightforward Sauvignon Blanc with intense flavours of gooseberries and lime with a taut acid tension. Match with sole fish and steamed seafood over the next 2 years. Fermented to 12% alc, 4g/l RS. 17+/20 pts (86 pts) Oct 2021 RRP $16
