Tora Bay ‘Tora Rock’ Martinborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 12-Sep-2014
Bright, even, pale straw-yellow colour lighter on rim. The nose is very elegant in proportion and tightly concentrated with good intensity of acacia white florals, herbs and green stonefruits, interwoven with tropical fruit and minerally interest. Dry to taste, tightly bound flavours of white florals, herbs and stonefruits form a slender palate with depth. The fruit has sweetness and the freshness is enhanced by fine, ripe acidity, providing poise and cut. The palate has positive line and drive, and the flavours carry through to a long, sustained, refined finish. This is an elegant and tightly bound Sauvignon Blanc with refined white floral and herb flavours. Serve with seafood and Mediterranean cuisine over the next 2+ years. Martinborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 4 g/L RS. 17.5/20 Sep 2014 RRP $19.00
