Bright, pale yellow colour, slightly lighter on edge. The nose is elegant, clear in layers, softly penetrating stonefruit, pear, and grapefruit aroma, entwined with subtle minerals, spice lifting and a creamy underlay. Medium-bodied, concentrated aromas of stonefruit, pear, grapefruit peels have a concentrated core, layered with citrus zest and white spice, unfolding sea shell minerals and a touch of cream. The wine is mouth-filling with fruit's intensity and an elegant, supple creaminess, along with fine-textured phenolics with a chalky appeal. Lacy and seamless acidity flows with good energy, carries spice that lingers and elevates the finish. This elegant, multilayered Chardonnay possesses ripe fruit, seamless acidity flow and spice on a fine-textured palate. Match with smoked salmon and savoury cheese puffs over the next 6+ years.
