Tinpot Hut Marlborough Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 24-Mar-2011
Light lemon straw-yellow in colour with some green hues, this has a full and firm bouquet of ripe yellow stonefruit, nectarines, with apricotty notes and a little mineral flintiness. Dry on palate, this is clean and crisp on palate, the fruit flavours showing good depth and weight. Softly textured and mouthfilling, there is freshness from the acidity, which carries to a sustained finish. Serve with antipasto and poultry over the next 2-4 years. Made from the home ‘Blind River' vineyard fruit cool-fermented to 12.8% alc. and 3.5 g/L rs. 17.0-/20 Mar 2011 RRP $21.00
