Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is fresh, with aromas of gooseberry, blackcurrant, lemon verbena and sweet blossom. Medium-bodied, aromas of gooseberry and grapefruit, entwined with blackcurrant, lemon verbena and blossom. Enlivening acidity carries zesty spice with precision, on a smooth-flowing, lightly creamy palate to a crisp, long finish. This North Canterbury Sauvignon Blanc is well-made, well-structured of layers and depth. Match with sole fish and steamed mussels over the next 3 years.
