Tiki ‘Single Vineyard’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 13-Dec-2017
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, paler on the edge. The nose is softly fresh with good depth and intensity of passionfruit aromas entwined with fresh herbs, nuances of cut grass and nettles, snow peas, unfolding white florals and mineral notes. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a deep core of softly concentrated flavours of passionfruit, dark herbs, green stonefruits and minerals. The fruit is up-front in expression, and the mouthfeel is enlivened by light, lacy acidity, the flavours flowing along a soft line. The flavours recede as the wine leads to a light finish. This is a softly concentrated, up-front Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, stonefruit, herb and mineral flavours, on a fresh and lively palate , and a light finish. Match with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘River Terrace’ vineyard, Upper Wairau, cool-fermented in tank to 13.0% alc. 16.5+/20 Dec 2017 RRP $24.00
