Tiki ‘Single Vineyard’ Marlborough Pinot Gris 2017

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 13-Dec-2017
Bright, straw-yellow colour with light hints of gold, paler on the rim. The nose is soft, with a gentle core of savoury white and yellow stonefruits, along with honeysuckle and musk notes, and nuances of minerals. Off-dry to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has a moderately deep core of gentle, savoury white and yellow stonefruits, hints of florals and honeysuckle. The fruit is up-front with moderate richness, and the wine flows along a light-textured line with good acid freshness and energy. The wine leads to a light, lingering, stonefruited finish. This is a moderately deep stonefruited, off-dry Pinot Gris with floral and honey nuances on a light-textured palate. Match with Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine over the next 2-3 years. Fruit from the Upper Wairau Valley, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc., and 7.7 g/L RS. 16.5/20 Dec 2017 RRP $24.00
