Tiki Estate ‘Single Vineyard – Wairau Alpine Valley’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 10-Dec-2011
Very pale straw-yellow with green hues to the colour, youthful in appearance. This has a very fine, tight minerally nose of green capsicums and passionfruit, with nuances of savoury green beans beginning to develop. Dry on palate, the flavours of herbs, nectarines and minerals is match by fine textures and excellent soft, but refreshing acidity. There is a delicate succulence to the fruit expression and the wine has a sustained finish. Fruit from the ‘Puki Iti' vineyard in the Upper Wairau Valley stainless-steel fermented to 13.5% alc. and 3.6 g/L rs. A fine match with seafood over the next 2-3+ years. 18.0+/20 Feb 2011 RRP $24.99
