Tiki ‘Estate’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-Oct-2016
Brilliant, light straw-yellow colour, pale on the rim. The nose is fresh, full and up-front with moderately deep and concentrated aromas of sweetly ripe, pungent passionfruit with notes of tropical fruits and soft herb and snow pea nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate shows gently luscious and juicy flavours of passionfruit and tropical fruit with depth and some concentration. The palate flows evenly with fresh, lacy acidity providing energy, and is underlined by light, dry textures, the wine carrying to a lingering finish with passionfruit notes. This is a soft and gently luscious, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with a balanced, even flow. Serve with salads and vegetables, and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Upper Wairau Valley estate vineyards, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.4% alc. and 4.0 g/L RS. 17.5-/20 Oct 2016 RRP $19.99
