Tiki ‘Estate’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 19-Oct-2014
Fruit from the ‘Te Puke’ and ‘River Terrace’ vineyards, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.2% alc. and 4.5 g/L RS. Bright, even, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues. This has a soft, fresh and light nose with voluminous, up-front aromas of gooseberries, nettles and fresh herbs, lifted by floral elements. Some minerally notes emerge in the glass. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, a soft core of gooseberry and passionfruit flavours are entwined with mineral and herbal detail. The mouthfeel is easy-flowing and has fresh acidity and some presence, leading to a softly luscious, light finish with grassy nuances. This is a soft, light, easy flowing Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberry and herbal detail. Serve as an aperitif, and with salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Oct 2014 RRP $19.95
